COMPRES Policy on Acknowledgement Statement in Publications

For any papers submitted for publication that report research conducted at any of the Community Facilities managed by COMPRES, or under the auspices of one of the Infrastructure Development projects funded by COMPRES, we would appreciate the inclusion of the following sentence in the Acknowledgements section of the paper:

"This research was partially supported by COMPRES, the Consortium for Materials Properties Research in Earth Sciences under NSF Cooperative Agreement EAR 1606856"

If the journal policy or space limitations do not allow the entire statement above to be included, please try to ensure that the most important words are specifically mentioned; these include COMPRES, NSF, and EAR 1606856.

Please also consult the websites for the national laboratories of the Department of Energy for acknowledgement requirements associated with the contractnumbers which support these national labs, such as the NSLS, the ALS, the APS and the SNS.

Following are acknowledgments that are requested by the national facilities on their website:

NSLS and Brookhaven National Laboratory
