Postdoctoral Position in Mineral Physics

The mineral physics group in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University invites applications from prospective postdoctoral researchers.

Successful applicants will study Earth’s mantle and core using high-pressure, high-temperature experimental techniques, and should hold a Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences or a related field by the start date.
The position is for one year, renewable to at least two contingent on research progress.
Experience with diamond anvil cells, laser heating, and/or synchrotron techniques is preferred. Successful applicants will have the freedom to design a portion of their research project in collaboration with the PI.
